Lush is a handmade cosmetics company headquartered in the UK who pride themselves on their ethical approach to business. Lush places emphasis on fresh ingredients like organic fruits and vegetables, fight tirelessly against animal testing and operate a thoroughly comprehensive Ethical Buying department, supporting Fair Trade and Community Trade initiatives. Lush have over 900 shops worldwide, a large Digital presence and many back-office systems that support their business. Lush needed a cloud-based data-platform that helped centralise data for use in their Business Intelligence and Reporting tools. The platform also needed to manage communication between operational systems and embed analytics in some of their systems.
